We do allow the sale of 18+ merch, however, we want to keep the event family-friendly and suitable for all ages. Because of this, we request that all merchandise that is suggestive or 18+ in content be covered accordingly, this includes but is not limited to: sexually explicit content, fully nude figures (both artistic and suggestive), and even partially clothed figures. Hanabi Con and its staff reserve the right to ask that you cover something up if we think that it is necessary. Anyone who does not abide by these rules will be asked to remove the work in question. If you do not comply with the request, you will be asked to leave and will not be invited back to future Hanabi events. Original and Proxy Selling *

We allow proxy selling at all Hanabi-run events but require that you do so with permission from the original artist. If proxy selling, please make sure you have a signed letter from the original artists stating that you have permission to sell their art. This includes the sale of items purchased from sites such as etsy, shopify, etc. and resold at our event as if you were the creator. We want to prevent the sale of stolen art, anyone without permission from the artist will be asked to remove the work in question. If you do not comply with the request, you will be asked to leave and will not be invited back to future Hanabi events. Hanabi Con prohibits the use and sale of any and all AI artwork and has a zero tolerance policy for the sale of AI art.
