What is a “Fan Panel”?

Panels are smaller interactive events during the convention held between fans. These events can be DIY tutorials on cosplay, game shows, informationals, and much more. The main purpose of panels is to let attendees share their knowledge and connect with the other members of the community.

How long should I plan for my panel to last?

We are looking for panels to be about 25-30 min long.

All Ages Panels: This panel is suitable for all FanimeCon members, of any age. 16+ Panels: These panels may contain more swearing and/or slightly more mature content. They may not be recommended for younger audiences. These panels do not require a photo ID for admittance. 18+ Panels: These panels contain mature content unsuitable for younger audiences. Attendees are required to prove they are at least 18 years of age using a valid government-issued photo ID to enter the panel room. We still ask that all 18+ panels not discuss explicit sexual content during the panel. ***Due to this requirement, the panel room of any 18+ panel that was preceded by an All Ages or 16+ panel will be vacated before the admittance of the incoming queue.***
